Tour Overview
Your Guided Group Holiday To The Gardens of The Loire Valley
Discover the wonderful gardens of the Loire Valley with garden expert Iain MacDonald. On this 5-night break we’ll wander among the plants and rose gardens at Parc Floral de la Source. We’ll learn how the 16th century noblewomen influenced the enchanting French style gardens of Château de Chenonceau. It wouldn’t be a trip to France without wine tasting! We will get to tour the wine cellar in Chateau de Valmer and sample some wine from the Vouvray vineyards. We’ll visit two stunning gardens overlooking the Loire, Chateau d’Amboise and Le Conservatoire International des Parc et Jardins de Chaumont-sur-Loire. We’ll see the fairy-tale castle in Chateau de Rivau and its modern gardens. We’ll also have the opportunity to uncover the city of Tours in our own time and Iain will be happy to offer some suggestions. So join us on this guided garden holiday in France and uncover some of the best gardens of the Loire Valley.
