Treasures of Germany and Scandinavia with Helsinki

Upon arrival at Berlin International Airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to the hotel. Later, our guide will give an overview of the tour, or you can check the informative panels in the hotel reception area.


Overnight in Berlin

The morning after breakfast, Ease your way into the local culture with a guided tour of Germanys incredible capital, Berlin. We will visit the historic center, Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate, and the citys magnificent parks. We continued our visit by stopping at the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Museum. This visit can help us to understand the difficult situation the city experienced during the Twentieth Century. Free time to explore the city.


Overnight in Berlin

After breakfast, we will travel to Dresden, a city on the river Elba where we can admire its palace. We go on to Bavaria and our arrival in Bamberg, a very beautiful city full of life; dont miss little Venice! We continue to Nuremberg, the second largest city in Bavaria, and a city of great history where we suggest a visit to the place where Hitlers Coliseum stood.


Overnight in Nuremberg

After breakfast, we will depart for Kelheim, located on the banks of the Danube. At Kelheim, we board a boat for a short cruise along the Danube Valley, in the Danube Gorges, leading us to Kloster Weltenburg, a beautiful Benedictine monastery founded in 1040. After a short tour of the monastery, we'll make our way to Landshut, along narrow roads, one of the prettiest villages in Germany, where we have time to stroll and stop for lunch (own expense). Later, we'll visit the Dachau Concentration Camp Museum. In this impressive place, we will remember the difficult time of Nazism. Time to see the complex. We arrive in Munich in the mid-afternoon for a visit to the impressive BMW WELT (BMW World) Complex, a very modern facility with multifunctional exhibitions of the BMW Group, the prestigious German car manufacturer. We will also see the park where the architecturally beautiful Olympia stadium stands and where the famous Olympic Games of 1972 were held. Winding up our day in Munich, well have the evening to enjoy at the typical beer houses.


Overnight in Munich

Today, amidst alpine summits and very beautiful scenery, we traveled to Fussen and Neuschwanstein Castle. We get on a bus to Maria Bridge and admire the fantastic scenery from this little bridge between the hills. You can either return on foot or horse and cart (not included). After this, continuing with our romantic route, we travel to Rothenburg, a very pretty city surrounded by walls, where we enter the beautiful Christmas Museum (entrance included). Next Frankfurt, Germanys financial capital. Arrival in the evening.


Overnight in Frankfurt

Today, well explore the historic Rhine and Moselle Valleys, both rich in history and dotted with charming villages. Our journey begins with a scenic cruise along the most picturesque stretch of the Rhine, between the villages of Rüdesheim and Sankt Goar. From there, we'll travel to the Moselle River and stop in Cochem, a lovely village nestled along the Rhine and dominated by a magnificent castle over a thousand years old, where we'll enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, well continue to Cologne, where youll have the chance to visit its impressive Gothic cathedral, which, at 154 meters, held the title of the worlds tallest building until the late 19th century. You can also stroll along the Rhine and explore the bustling city center before we head to our hotel in Dortmund.Overnight in Dortmund

Today, well set off on an enchanting journey, revisiting beloved childhood stories and movies as we travel through the towns that inspired the Brothers Grimm on the famous Fairy Tale Route. Our first stop will be the picturesque, walled village of Trendelburg, where well explore its grand medieval castle and visit the renowned Rapunzel Tower, with admission included.Well continue along scenic roads, passing through forests that echo the story of Hansel and Gretel. Our next destination is Höxter, a lively town where well enjoy lunch and tour Corvey Abbey, a 9th-century monastery and UNESCO World Heritage Site, with admission included. Afterward, well pause in Polle to capture photos of the ruins of Cinderellas Castle. Our journey will then lead us to Hamelin, celebrated for the tale of “The Pied Piper of Hamelin,” where well follow the mouse tracks through town before moving on to Hanover. In Hanover, well have time to explore the city center and take a stroll by the old town hall.Note: During fairs or conferences, accommodations may be arranged in a nearby city.Overnight in Hannover

Today after breakfast, we leave Hannover for Hamburg, where we go around its lake and see its busy port full of life, time for lunch. After lunch, we travel to Flensburg a pretty seaside village with its marina on the border with Denmark. Our route goes on to Aarhus, Denmarks second-largest city in the center of Jutland.


Overnight in Aarhus

The morning after breakfast, we will travel to Hirtshals, where we will take a ferry crossing the North Sea to Norway. A three-hour voyage to Kristiansand. We will continue along Norways Aarhus/Denmark Dresden/Germany southern coastline and enjoy its stunning landscapes. The next stop is Flekkefjord, a town with wooden houses and tiny restaurants on a fjord. Arrival at Stavanger, a small, picturesque town that has an active port by the fjord.

Note: Ferry operation hours vary depending on the month. Sometimes it is normally reserved to have lunch on the boat.


Overnight in Stavanger

After Breakfast, upon leaving the city, we will stop at the ‘Swords in Rock monument, where we will be reminded of the Vikings, before continuing the very beautiful scenic tour. We follow the route going through tunnels, and bridges and travel some stretches by boat to go along the fjord coast of Norway. One of its undersea tunnels is the deepest one in the world. This stage gets more relaxed and spectacular with its two boat trips. We will arrive in Bergen at lunchtime. We took a funicular trip to Mount Floyen which offers amazing views of the town and Bergen fjord. There will be some leisure time later to enjoy the capital city of fjords.


Overnight in Bergen

Today, well encounter Norways most breathtaking landscapes, including its fjords, glaciers, lakes, and forests. Our journey will lead us to Sognefjord, Norways largest fjord. Along the way, well pause at the beautiful Tvindefossen Waterfall. Then, well set off on a spectacular cruise from Gudvangen to Aurland, taking in the breathtaking views on this hour-and-a-half voyage. Our adventure continues as we pass through snow-draped landscapes and the Aurland Tunnel, the worlds longest road tunnel. Well stop to admire the exterior of Borgunds 12th-century wooden church, celebrated as Norways best-preserved medieval church. Finally, well reach Oslo, where youll have free time to explore the port, stroll the main streets, and discover the sculptures in Frogner Park.Overnight in Oslo

Enjoy your breakfast, we include a sightseeing tour with a local guide of the Norwegian capital; this city combines its vibrant modern architecture with its classical buildings, magnificent scenery, and large parks with sculptures. It has been nominated the “European green capital”. After the tour, if you want you can visit the Vikings Museum. Departure for Sweden. Enjoy landscapes with forests and lakes. The next stop is Orebro, a town next to a beautiful lake with a castle and charming historic center. Time for a stroll and to have lunch. Continuing to Stockholm, arriving in the evening.


Overnight in Stockholm

After breakfast, today we took a panoramic tour of this very beautiful capital city built on 13 islands joined together. We will see the Gamla Stand or the “City between the Bridges”, the old quarter of the city, full of life where there are many monumental buildings such as the Nobel Museum, alongside the main square of Stortorget, which pays tribute to the winners of the Nobel Prizes, the Cathedral, and the Royal Palace. Whenever possible, we will enjoy a pretty view from the Fjällgatan viewpoint. Then leisure time. We recommend visiting the museums and parks. Optionally, we suggest a visit to the City Hall and to the Vasa Museum.


Overnight in Stockholm

After breakfast, Enjoy a free day of leisure in Stockholm. In the evening we will board a modern ferry traveling overnight to Finland, where accommodation will be in double cabins with private bathrooms.

The ferry features a restaurant, bar, nightclub, casino, shops, ample rooms). Enjoy your time on the deck.


Overnight on-board the ferry

In the morning, as we arrive in Finland, we recommend that you go to the ships deck for sunrise and enjoy mesmerizing landscapes from the sea as we sail along Aland Islands, hundreds of islands covered by forests. We disembark the ferry and have time to walk around Turku, a city with a very strong Swedish influence. We continue our journey to the neighboring city of Naantali, a very picturesque town with wooden houses next to the sea. We will travel until we arrive in Helsinki, reaching lunchtime. In the afternoon enjoy leisure time, you will be able to explore the city, with its old market, buildings with Russian influence, and churches.


Overnight in Helsinki

Have breakfast and later enjoy a boat trip to Suomenlinna Islands, a group of islands where we can witness a great fortress that used to protect the sea entry to the city, it has been declared World Heritage. Take time to walk around, it is possible to cross the islands through small pedestrian bridges. I have free time during the afternoon.


Overnight in Helsinki

After breakfast, make your own way to Helsinki International Airport for your return flight home.
