The city is steeped in legend and mythology as there are numerous stories of how this majestic place was built. Several Roman emperors and Casers have ruled mighty Rome. This is the city where the colossal Roman Empire grew from. We recommend you visit the world-famous Colosseum (with the skip the line pass) and the Sistine Chapel, famous for its extensive and detailed decorations including the Last Judgement fresco by Michelangelo and the ceiling artwork.
